Second Sight has been engineering innovative biotechnologies to provide eye sight capabilities to the blind population. Although met with great success, researchers have long desired to develop a method to test how well one can see with a bionic eye. Moreover, we are interested in knowing about the experience of the patient utilizing this eye. University of Washington scientists have now developed a method by which patients , and their families, can visualize what it will be like for them to acquire a bionic eye.
